At the Nova Scotia
Department of Labour and Advanced Education, as a member of the Labour
Market Support Systems (LaMPSS) Project Team, a Senior Business Analyst/ System
Analyst from Droctech was involved early in the project in collecting and
documenting the system requirements, defining a project release strategy, and
finalizing the system definition and conversion strategy. During each software
release, our Analyst completed the detailed design, testing, and implementation
of the majority of the Budget, Financial Entitlement, and Payment portions for
both the Organizational Agreement Management and Individual Agreement Management
modules.
At the Nova Scotia
Department of Community Services, as a member of the Integrated Case
Management (ICM) Team, a System Analyst from Droctech designed, tested, and
implemented the Client Budget calculation and payment modules of the ICM
application, including the conversion of the legacy data into the Oracle
Environment.
For Service Nova Scotia
& Municipal Relations, Droctech provided a Software Architect/ Business
Analyst to complete the System Design, Business Process Change, Testing, and
Implementation for Releases 2-6 of a web-based Carrier Activity Profile System
(CAPS). Our Analyst also created the Functional Design for a web-based
Collision Information Management System (CIMS) to replace the existing
mainframe application.
For the Workers'
Compensation Board (WCB) of Nova Scotia, a Droctech Software Architect/
Business Analyst designed, tested, and implemented the Assessment Payment Plan
into the existing Revenue Management System (RMS).
Droctech has also provided expertise to the WCB in several other areas including:
a Workflow Analysis of the Integrated Service Units; the Preliminary Design for
an Overpayment System; Team Lead for the Recurrence Management System development;
and Lansa Developer for some of the Nova Scotia Workers’ Compensation Act changes
effective in February 1, 1996.
